Objective To explore the surguical technique and clinical effect of Arthroscope in treating rotator cuff injury. Methods 13 cases of rotator cuff injury as were included in the study. All the patients were treated with anchor suture and Orthocord suture under Arthroscope.In preoperative and final follow- up,shoulder and elbow score Medical Association (ASEs) was used for functiona1 evaluation. Results All the patients were followed up. The average follow-up was 16.5 months, range from 12 to 24 months. According to the ASES rating, the postoperative score at one year follow-up was improved to 87.8±1.1 from 47.7±3.7 (basal line, preoperative). The excellent and good rate of ASES score was 84.8%. Conclusions The endoscopic surgical technique is a good method for the treatment of rotator cuff injury, which could reconstruct rotator cuff, restore shoulder joint function ,and obtain a satisfactory clinical curative effect.
