An Investigation to the Shipborne Eddy-Correlation Observating System and Its Validity

摘要 涡动相关法是海-气间热量、物质与能量交换通量观测的标准方法,但其在船基平台上的应用非常困难。通过由光纤罗经和高精度差分GPS组成的船体运动姿态监测系统与涡动相关系统相结合,本文建立了新型的船载涡动相关观测系统。利用船体运动姿态监测系统的观测数据,可由Edson提出的船体运动校正公式计算出真实的三维风速,因此可以准确获得三维风速脉动的观测。采用这种新型的观测系统,我们在渤海进行了试验观测,对实测湍流能谱与其它湍流特征参数的分析结果显示,该系统可以有效去除船体运动对海-气间交换通量观测的影响。不同海况下校正前后湍流强度和动量通量的比较结果显示,在4~5级海况下,校正前的湍流强度的平均值比校正后的大20%,而校正前的动量通量的平均值约为校正后的2倍。这表明,在较高的海况下,使用船体运动姿态监测系统对实测的三维风速进行校正非常必要。这种新型的观测系统使得海-气间交换通量的精确观测成为可能。 While the eddy-correlation method has long been a standard measuring method of the air-sea fluxes of heat,mass and energy,its application on a moving shipborne planform presents many difficulties.In this study,by using the ship movement and the gesture monitoring system(SMGMS),which consists of an optic compass and a high-resolution differential global positioning system(DGPS),and the eddycorrelation observing system,a new shipborne eddy-correlation observing system is estabilished.Based on SMGMS data,the real three-dimensional wind speed can be estimated with the Edson formula,therefore the three-dimensional wind fluctuations can be obtained.Eddy-correlation measurements in the Bohai Sea are used to validate the system.Analyses of the power spectrum and other turbulent parameters show that contaminations of the ship movements can be effectively removed.Results under different sea conditions are used to examine the effects of the ship movement correction.For sea conditions 4~5,the mean turbulence intensity calculated from uncorrected wind fluctuations is about 20%,which is larger than that from those corrected,while the mean uncorrected momumtum flux is almost twice of the corrected one.This implies that,under relatively high sea conditions,the correction of the measured wind fluctuations is vital to the estimates of the air-sea fluxes.The new observing system makes the accurate measurements of air-sea fluxes possible.
