Effect of Strong Cross-wind on the Stability of Trains Running on the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway Line

摘要 兰新线百里风区内经常发生车辆脱轨、倾覆等事故,本文根据动力学力矩平衡原理研究了列车最高安全运行速度与环境风风速之间的关系,并分析了各种因素对车辆运行稳定性的影响,对于预防事故,确保季风区行车安全具有重要的意义.计算结果表明:空车比重车的临界倾覆风速低,货车的临界倾覆风速比客车低,空棚车的临界倾覆风速最低. Trains derail or capsize very often in the one hundred li wind region on the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway Line. The relationship between the highest safe running speeds of trains and the ambient wind speed is studied on the basis of the dynamic torque balance principle and the factors affecting train operations are also analyzed. It is of great importance to accident prevention and safe running of trains in the monsoon region. Computational results show that the critical wind speed of the unloaded car is lower than that of the loaded car, the critical wind speed of the freight car is lower than that of the passenger car, and the critical wind speed of the unloaded box car is the lowest.
