Objective: To observe the effect of Celecoxib therapy in arthritis patients. Methods: 67 arthritis patients with Celecoxib therapy and 40 arthritis patients with other NSAIDs therapy were evaluated by the physical examination and questionair before and after the treatment. Their VAS scores of pain were also evaluated. Result: There was no significant difference of therapeutic effect between two groups. Celecoxib group showed less gastrointestinal side effect. Conclusion: Celecoxib therapy has significant therapeutic effect as the other NSAIDs therapy on arthritis patients, with significantly less gastrointestinal side effects.
