Unit generator controlled object is non-linear system. Based on the mechanism mathematical model of the unit plant, a type of incremental mode observer TFO-KΔx was described by state space in this paper. Subsequently, a new control method has been proposed that state feedback based on IFO-KΔx be combined with conventional PID control. The great inertia and time lag can be overcome and load adaptive ability can be improved by using state feedback control, and steady index was assured by using PID control. The practice shows that the IFO-KΔx has no tighter requirement to mathematical model of controlled object. The observer designed has strong steady robustness especially when it is be used in object which characteristic has great inertia and time lag. The control scheme was applied in 4X300MW unit generators of Ping Liang Power Plant. The excellent control result was acquired in boiler-turbine coordinate control and main steam temperature control systems. This control algorithm is briefness, practicality and easy to spread.
