A radioligand binding assay was used to evaluate the level of plasma TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1a in 34 patients with carcinoma of nasopharynx. The results demonstrated that the level of 6-keto-PGF1a and TXB2 in plasma increased in patient with cancer cases as compared with normal controls, the level of TXB2;increased significantly(P< 0. 01 ). Also the level of TXB2 was significantly increased in plasma of advanced cases than those in primary cases(P<0. 01), These results suggested that the level of TXA2/PGI2,especially TXA2, should be implicated as possible facilitative agents in growth and dissemination of nasopharyngeal neoplasms.
