The quaterpolymer of methyl methacrylate (or styrene),butyl acrylate, acrylic acid and N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide were used to synthesize water soluble dispersing resin and film-forming emulsion polymer, which used azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator. The syhthesized polymer was neutralized by dimethylaminoethanol, and then applied as the connective materials of flexograph tetracolor multicolor printing inks. The obtained polymers and printing inks were determined. All of their properties were in accord with national standard. The concentration of heavy metals met the SGS criterion legislated by USA. The VOC of these inks were more less than the similar products.
