Objective To compare the changes of hemorheology and blood concretion status in patients with benign and malignant tumors. Methods Hemorheological indicators, platelet count ,and platelet aggregation rate were measured in 50 healthy persons and 100 tumor sufferers （50 among those examples with benign tumors and 50 with malignant tumors） .Results In patients with benign tumors, whole blood viscosity ratio, plasma viscosity ratio, plasma fibrinogen, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, erythrocyte hematocrit, erythrocyte aggregation index, platelet count, and platelet aggregation rate were compared with that of the healthy ones to have no obvious differences（ P 〉 0.05）, but in patients with malignant tumors, the abovementioned indexes showed significantly differences from those both in the healthy ones and the patients with benign tumors（ P 〈 0.01 or P 〈 0.05）. Conclusions Hyperviscosity, hypercoagulability and hyperdetention were presented in the blood of patients with maligmant tumors. The abnormal changes in hemorheology and the blood concretion may promote the occurrences of the blood ways＇ transfer with tumors.
