摘要 论述胶体电解质铅酸蓄电池的国内发展及其在军用通信领域的实际应用情况,论述了该类电池的优点、缺点和使用中的注意事项.实际使用的情况表明:在充电时,铅酸蓄电池的胶体电解质对酸雾的溢出有很强的阻滞作用,使水分损失减少,维护周期大大延长,减少了维护的工作量,降低了维护工作的复杂程度.在工作电流不太大的通信领域是一种很好的化学电源. Development of lead-acid batteries with gelled electrolyte in China and their application in military telecommunications were described. The advantages and shortcomings of gelled electrolyte batteries and causions in their operation were also discussed. The results of practical use show that the gelled electrolyte can srongly inhibit releasing of acid fume during charge, reduce the water loss and extend the maintenance intervals, so this kind of batteries can be considered as an ideal electrochemical power source for telecommunication application in which less working current is needed in operation.
