This article took Li Dai Zhong Yao Zi Liao Ji Yao as a clue to check the previous editions of "People’s Republic of China Pharmacopoeia", the 1988 edition of "National TCM Processing Regulations", 14 specifications of preparation of local Chinese decoction pieces, and 34 relevant ancient books, concluded and summarized preparation methods of Curculiginis Rhizoma, and provided references for scientific and rational selection of preparation of Curculiginis Rhizoma. Curculiginis Rhizoma has a long history of processing. It has a variety of processing methods such as medicinal juice preparation, rice bran water preparation, wine immersion, wine immersion roasting, wine steaming, etc. The most popular application is the wine fry method. Curculiginis Rhizoma rice bran water preparation is a common method used in the Qing Dynasty and before. The literature clearly pointed out that the method can detoxify Curculiginis Rhizoma, but there is little research and application in modern times. The reason is further to be verified.
