典型东北冷涡过程中上对流层—下平流层区域物质分布特征分析 预览 被引量:1

Distribution of substances in upper troposphere-lower stratosphere region during typical cold vortexes over Northeast China

摘要 利用Aura/MLS卫星资料和ERA-Interim再分析资料,对2009年、2010年2次典型东北冷涡过程中上对流层—下平流层(upper troposphere-lower stratosphere,UTLS)区域的臭氧和水汽的分布特征进行研究。分析结果表明:东北冷涡发生期间伴随高空急流的存在,在急流北侧平流层高浓度臭氧"舌"及平流层干"舌"向下侵入,东北冷涡主体上方的UTLS区域臭氧和水汽呈现非均匀分布,臭氧含量比非东北冷涡控制区域大约高出0.3-0.5ppmv,水汽浓度则低1-2个量级,且臭氧"舌"及干"舌"下伸的深度随冷涡发展而加深;结合臭氧和水汽在UTLS区域的分布,表明了物质双向交换的存在;欧洲中心的ERA-Interim高分辨率臭氧资料能够较好地反映出平流层臭氧"舌"的侵入,侵入的位置与MLS资料揭示的一致,但强度上要比MLS资料显示的稍弱,两者差值小于—0.1ppmv。 Focusing on two typical cases of cold vortexes over Northeast China which happened in 2009 and 2010, respectively, the combinative Aura/MLS satellite and ERA-Interim reanalysis data were used to analyze the vertical distribution of ozone and water vapor in UTLS (upper troposphere-lower stratosphere) region The analytical results show that: 1) With the presence of upper-tropospheric jet stream during cold vortexes activities, the PV (potential vorticity) of 2 PVU (PV Units) extends down-ward, the 44 tongue, of stratospheric high ozone concentration and the 44 tongue, of stratospheric dry air mass (i. e. , lower water vapor concentration) intrude into the lower atmosphere in the northern of jet stream. The ozone and water vapor in UTLS region above the main region of cold vortexes present non-uniform distribution The concentration of ozone is higher about 0. 3-0. 5 ppmv than that of the region out of cold vortexes, and water vapor is lower about 1-2 orders of magnitude. In addition,the “tongue” of enhancement of ozone and the 44 tongue, of dry air mass deepen with the development of cold vortexes. 2) The distributions of o- zone and water vapor in UTLS indicate that the possibility of two-way substances exchange. 3) ERA-Interim high-resolution o- zone data can disclose the intrusion of stratospheric ozone 44tongue,, and the position of intrusion is consistent with the result of MLS data. However, the intensity of intrusion is weaker than the MLS data, the difference between them is within -0. 1 ppmv.
