Objective ：To explore the long-term effect of warm acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, so as to provide a reference for the treatment of the disease. Methods：96 cases of knee osteoarthritis patients were selected in a hospital and were randomly divided into 2 groups,48 cases in each. Those in the control group were given needle puncture and rehabilitation treatment, while the observation group underwent warm acupuncture plus rehabilitation training therapy. The serologi- cal indexes, the changes of symptom and sign integrals and the safety indexes of the two groups were compared. Rcsnits ： After the treat- ment, the serological indexes of the two groups such as CRP, MMP-3 ,TNF-alpha and IL-1 were lower than before the treatment, and the indexes were better improved in the observation group than in the control group, the differences being statistically significant （ P 〈 0.05 }. After the treatment, the symptom and sign integrals of the two groups such as pain, stiffness, tenderness, daily life ability, joint activity and swelling were better than before the treatment, with the observation group superior to the control group, the differences being statistically significant （P 〈 0.05 ）. The safety indicators of the two groups such as HGB, ALT, AST, and Cr manifested no differences before and after the treatment, and there was no statistical difference between the two groups after the treatment （ P 〉 0.05 ）. Conclusion： Warming acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis can effectively improve serological indexes and relieve clinical symptoms. It is safe and worthy of promotion in clinic.
