Objective To analyze AIDS related knowledge, risk behaviors and infection status of HIV, syphilis and HCV among the male floating population in Sichuan Province , and to provide evidence for developing an integrated control and prevention program. Methods According to the requirement of the Protocol for National Sentinel Surveillance of AIDS, face - to - face questionnaire surveys were conducted in migrant people from April to July each year, and blood samples were also collected and examined. Results From 2012 to 2015, 1 602, 1 600, 1 600 and 1 601 people were surveyed respectively. The awareness rates on AIDS related knowledge were 80. 2%, 82. 8%, 94. 8% and 94. 9%, respectively. The proportions commercial sex in the past year were 13.4%, 15.8% 7. 1% and 5.9% , respectively. of people having The proportions of people with consistent condom use while having commercial sex in past year were 18.0%, 15.8%, 29. 0% and 40. 5%, respectively. The proportions of people with casual sex in the past year were 4. 1%, 5.4%, 2. 0% and 1.9%, respectively. The proportions of people with consistent condom use while having casual sex in past year were 15.0%, 21.3%, 25.0% and 21.4%, respectively. The positive rates of HIV antibody were 0. 0%, 0. 0%, 0. 2% and 0. 5%, respectively. Logistic regression found a significant association between high -risk sexual behaviors, and marital status, local residence duration and sample source. Conclusion The knowledge awareness rate is increasing, but there are still some risk factors such as high - risk sexual behaviors and low rate of condom use. It is needed to strengthen the intervention and publicity of the floating population.
