安徽宿松坐山志留纪晚期地层的研究 被引量:2

STUDY OF THE LATE SILURIAN XIAOXI FORAMTION AT THE ZUOSHAN SECTION, SUSONCs ANHUI, CHINA

摘要 通过对安徽宿松原称“茅山群”地层的综合研究,发现了2层线形植物化石、植物类表皮微体化石和大型虫管遗迹化石。结合湖南张家界和澧县、重庆秀山、贵州石阡和印江、湖北通山等地志留纪晚期地层的研究结果,确定宿松坐山原称“茅山群”地层的时代为志留纪晚期(Ludlow-Pridoli);依据所含化石和岩性特征,认为这套地层应称为小溪组。综合分析了安徽下扬子地层分区的志留系上部地层,认为该区可能不存在真正茅山群沉积,原称“茅山群”地层为志留纪晚期小溪组。造成该区志留纪兰多维列世特列奇早期之后沉积间断的原因是广西运动的影响。 A systemic study of the so-called "Maoshan Group" at the Zuoshan section, Susong, Anhui, China, revealed nematophyte and cuticle-like plant fossils, as well as large tubular trace fossils. Based on a comparison with late Silurian strata and fossils in South China (e.g., Zhangjiajie and Lixian, Hunan; Xiushan, Chongqing; Shiqian and Yinjiang, Guizhou; and Tongshan, Hubei) and based on other biostratigraphic and lithostratigraphic data, the "Maoshan Group" is interpreted as late Silurian (Ludlow-Pridoli) in age, and it is thus renamed the Xiaoxi Formation. After a review of stratigraphic data from the lower Yangtze stratigraphical region of Anhui, it is concluded that there is no true Maoshan Group/Formation in this area, and the so-called "Maoshan Group" is renamed the Xiaoxi Formation. The Kwangsian Orogeny is a key factor that caused the sedimentary disconti- nuity between the Fentou (early Telychian, Llandovery) and Xiaoxi formations (Ludlow-Pridoli).
