High Point Monitoring Pedestrian Detection Based on Background Modeling and Inter Frame Difference Method

摘要 高点行人检测是在火车站广场最高处或者大型广场的制高点安装摄像头,不同于传统监控的5~10 m的监控高度。采用安装高度超过30 m的摄像头,实现实时统计指定区域的人数。由于摄像头位置高,覆盖面广,可以做到大面积布控。但是随之而来的问题就是场景中行人占得像素很少,这就为统计人数带来很大的困难。针对高点监控应用场景,提出了基于背景建模和帧间差分法相结合的高点行人检测。实验结果表明,该算法比单独使用背景建模或者帧间差分法检测效果有所提高,同时降低了误检率。 In this paper,comparing with the traditional monitoring of 5~10 meters,a camera is installed at a height of more than 30 meters to realize the real time statistics of the number of people in the monitoring area.Because of the high position and wide coverage,large area can be dispatched.But the attendant problem is that pedestrians occupy very few pixels in the scene,and it brings great difficulties of statistics.In this paper,a high point pedestrian detection method based on background modeling and inter frame difference was proposed for high point surveillance applications.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm improves the detection rate and reduces the false detection rate compared with the background modeling or frame difference method.
