In this experiment,pectin was used to modify nano-iron to adsorb basic fuchsin,and pectin was used to modify nano-iron,which could improve the adsorption of nano-iron on basic fuchsin. In this paper,the mass concentration of pectin,the dosage of modified nano-zero-valent iron,the dosage of active agent hydroxymethylcellulose sodium,adsorption time,temperature,and basic fuchsine were studied from the perspective of the preparation process of adsorbent. The effect of initial concentration on dye removal showed that the pectin concentration was 2. 58%,and 0. 02 g of modified nano-zero-valent iron and 0. 1 g of active agent sodium carboxymethylcellulose were added in 12 mg/L of the basic fuchsin solution with the initial concentration of 50 mL,in condition that the adsorption time was 60 mins and the adsorption temperature was 60℃,the modified nano-zero-valent iron had better adsorption effect on the basic fuchsin. The modified nano-zero-valent iron adsorbed the basic fuchsin solution according to pseudo first-order reaction kinetics model and the effect of equilibrium concentration on the adsorption amount was consistent with the Langmuir adsorption model,which was based on chemical adsorption.
