The nasolabial fold is a concave facial line located between the zygomatic cheek and the upper lip, which gradually deepens with age and is one of the signs of facial aging. With modern plastic technology and the development of biological materials science, using hyaluronic acid to fill nasolabial fold get the favour of the medical community and patients more and more. HA has the advantage of simple operation, convenient and easy to inject. It also can be used repeatedly and has obvious effect. However there are also some related complications. This article reviews the clinical application and complications of hyaluronic acid filling nasolabial fold.
