[Objective ]To explore the application effect of blended teaching mode based on rain classroom in medical biology teaching in Higher Vocational colleges.[Method] Using cluster sampling method, 87 students from 2 classes of nursing major in grade 2018 were randomly selected as the observation group, and blended teaching based on rain classroom was carried out simultaneously with traditional teaching. 86 students from 2 classes of 2018 higher vocational nursing specialty were randomly selected as the control group to carry out traditional teaching. Compare the two groups of students in peacetime and final results, learning effect evaluation.[Result] The scores of students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group in peacetime and at the end of the term, and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). The students in the observation group were satisfied with the evaluation of learning effect.[Conclusion] The application of rain classroom in blended teaching is helpful to improve the teaching effect of medical biology.
