Objective To study the efficacy of radiofrequency ablation and mitral valve replacement for atrial fibrillation and related factors. Methods Retrospective analysis of 70 patients with mitral valve disease and atrial fibrillation who were admitted to our hospital during 2015~2018 were included radiofrequency ablation was performed for atrial fibrillation with Atricure bipolar pen radiofrequency ablation device while mitral valve replacement surgery, the clinical parameters of the perioperative period were collected, and the therapeutic effect of atrial fibrillation was evaluated after 3 months of follow-up, according to whether the sinus rhythm was converted, they were divided into two groups: the conversion group and the untransformed group, the influence factors were evaluated. Results Amog 70 cases of atrial fibrillation, the atrial fibrillation converted to sinus rhythm after 3 months was 75.7%, there was no significant difference in CPB time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage,ventilator assisted time and ICU time between the two groups(P>0.05). There were significant differences in preoperative EF values, left atrial size, age, and cardiac function between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Mitral valve replacement has a good early effect of radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation. The prognosis of atrial fibrillation is related to the type of atrial fibrillation, EF, preoperative cardiac function, left atrial size and age.
