In this paper,taking Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Science(YAAS)for example,statistical analysis on the basic situation of number of staff,technical title,age and service area in"Three Areas"talent program of YAAS from 2014 to 2018 were carried out.The difficulties faced by researchers in the process of project implementation were also pointed out.Finally,combined with the actual situation,countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to further promote the talent development of"Three Areas"of YAAS,such as strengthening supervision and management,accelerating industry demonstration,strengthening science and technology guidance,increasing science and technology training and promoting cooperation between science and enterprises.The purposes of the study are providing reference for the scientific decision-making of"Three Areas"relevant administrative departments,providing experience for project execution of"Three Areas"agricultural science and technology service personnel in Yunnan as well as the whole country.
