Objective: To summarize the risk factors for relapse of dermatomyositis(DM) after remission and the clinical features of the patients with anti Ro-52 antibody positive. Methods: Data of epidemiology, auxiliary examination results, treat ment and follow up were collected from patients with DM in the Department of Dermatology, Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Med ical University from January 2014 to December 2017. SPSS18.0 was used to analyze the data. Kaplan-meier test and Cox regression analysis were used to assess the risk factors for relapse of DM after remission. Results: Anti-Ro-52 antibody positive and cancer were independent risk factors for relapse. Patients with anti-Ro-52 antibody positive displayed higher rates of interstitial lung disease(ILD), heart damage, cancer, relapse and deaths than those with anti-Ro-52 antibody negative. Conclusions: Both anti-Ro-52 antibody positive and cancer are independent risk factors for relapse of DM. The anti-Ro-52 antibody positive indicates that the patients could be complicated by ILD, heart damage and cancer along with higher mortality.
