Objective To investigate and analyze the hope level status and its influence factors of lung cancer patients received chemotherapy. Methods 130 cases of lung cancer patients received chemotherapy in the fifth affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2017 to March 2018 were chosen for the study. The hope levels of patients were all evaluated by the Herth hope scale. The evaluation results of patients with different gender, ages, education degree, general self-efficacy,social support degree, emotional state,self-esteem level, disease stages and times of chemotherapy were compared, then the relationship between those factors and hope level of patients were analyzed with multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The number of low, moderate and high hope level in 130 cases of lung cancer patients received chemotherapy were 54 cases,46 cases and 30 cases, respectively, and the rates were 41. 54%,35. 38% and 23. 08%,respectively. The evaluation results of patients with different gender and chemotherapy frequency were compared, the differences were not statistically significant( P > 0. 05). The differences of evaluation results of patients with different ages, education degree, general self-efficacy,social support degree, emotional state,self-esteem level and disease stages were statistically significant( P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the age, education degree, general selfefficacy, social support degree, emotional state,self-esteem level and disease stages were the influence factors of hope level of lung cancer patients received chemotherapy. Conclusions The hope level of patients received chemotherapy of lung cancer are relatively low,and numerous factors affect the hope level of patients,so the influence factors could be chose as the reference basis for the intervention measures.
