However its toxicity has to be considered. We studied the effect of cell inhibition with ZnS core quantum dots and CdTe quantum dots modified with Thioglycolic acid or Cysteine functional group (TGA-CdTe, TGA-CdTe/ZnS, Cys-CdTe, Cys-CdTe/ZnS) on Caco-2 cell proliferation. <strong>Methods</strong>: We studied the effect of cell inhibition with ZnS core QDs and CdTe QDs modified with functional group on Caco-2 cell proliferation by MTT assay at 0, 12.5, 25, 50, 100 μg/ml and 6, 24, 48 h. <strong>Result:</strong> Our results showed that all QDs have inhibited cell proliferation and reached maximum 79.21%. The inhibition rate of Cys-modified QDs increased with the increase of concentration and reached maximum 66.72%. The inhibition rate of TGA-modified QDs increased with the increase of time. The ratios of Cys-modified to TGA-modified were less than 1 at all concentrations and three exposure times (P ≤ 0.01). The average ratios of Cys-CdTe/ZnS to Cys-CdTe reached 1.11 only for 48 h (P ≤ 0.05). The ratios of TGA-CdTe/ZnS to TGA-CdTe were closed to 1 at all concentrations and exposure times. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> The regularity of QDs modified with functional group is that inhibition of TGA-modified higher than Cys-modified. Inhibition exhibited dose-dependent for Cys-modified while exhibited time-dependent for TGA-modified. The regularity of CdTe-QDs with ZnS or not is that the inhibition of Cys-CdTe/ZnS was higher than Cys-CdTe while TGA-CdTe/ZnS and TGA-CdTe were consistent.展开更多
The~6 Li(n,t)~4 He reaction was measured as the first experiment involving neutron-induced charged particle emission reactions at the CSNS(China Spallation Neutron Source)Back-n white neutron source.The differential c...The~6 Li(n,t)~4 He reaction was measured as the first experiment involving neutron-induced charged particle emission reactions at the CSNS(China Spallation Neutron Source)Back-n white neutron source.The differential cross-sections of the~6 Li(n,t)~4 He reaction at 15 detection angles ranging from 19.2°to 160.8°are obtained from 1.0 eV to 3.0 MeV at 80 neutron energy points;for 50 energy points below 0.1 MeV they are reported for the first time.The results indicate that the anisotropy of the emitted tritium is noticeable above E_n=100 eV.The angle-integrated cross-sections are also obtained.The present differential cross-sections agree in general with the previous evaluations,but there are some differences in the details.More importantly,the present results indicate that the cross-sections of the~6 Li(n,t)~4 He reaction might be overestimated by most evaluations in the 0.5-3.0 MeV region,although they are recommended as standards below 1.0 MeV.展开更多

Bt serovar <i>coreanensis</i> ST7, non-pathogenic to insects and non-hemolytic, has an important parasporin, PS4Aa1 (Cry45Aa1), with potential toxicity to human cancer cells. In this study, we reported the feature of complete genome sequence and the cluster of orthologous groups of proteins function classification of ST7. Meanwhile, the evolutionary of ST7 was also studied. The genome data of ST7 will strongly contribute to a better understanding of the genomic diversity and evolution, and enrich the Bt genome database.展开更多

Here we have reported a female patient who suffered wound rupture due to early post-operation mobilization and weight-bearing. We propose a coupling model to describe the interaction between the bright and dark modes of the plasmons of a dimer composed of two orthogonal gold nano-rods(GNRs),referred to as the BDMC model.This model shows that ...We propose a coupling model to describe the interaction between the bright and dark modes of the plasmons of a dimer composed of two orthogonal gold nano-rods(GNRs),referred to as the BDMC model.This model shows that the eigen-frequencies of the coupled plasmons are governed by Coulomb potential and electrostatic potential.With the BDMC model,the behaviors of the coupling coefficient and the frequency offset,which is a new parameter introduced here,are revealed.Meanwhile,the asymmetric behavior of two eigen-frequencies related to gap of two GNRs is explained.Using the harmonic oscillator model and the coupled parameters obtained by the BDMC model,the bright mode absorption spectra of the dimer are calculated and the results agree with the numerical simulation.展开更多
