The transport equation of transition momentum thickness Reynolds number is eliminated for si...This paper describes a simplified transition model based on the recently developed correlation-based c Rehttransition model. The transport equation of transition momentum thickness Reynolds number is eliminated for simplicity, and new transition length function and critical Reynolds number correlation are proposed. The new model is implemented into an in-house computational fluid dynamics(CFD) code and validated for low and high-speed flow cases, including the zero pressure flat plate, airfoils, hypersonic flat plate and double wedge. Comparisons between the simulation results and experimental data show that the boundary-layer transition phenomena can be reasonably illustrated by the new model, which gives rise to significant improvements over the fully laminar and fully turbulent results. Moreover, the new model has comparable features of accuracy and applicability when compared with the original c Rehtmodel. In the meantime, the newly proposed model takes only one transport equation of intermittency factor and requires fewer correlations, which simplifies the original model greatly. Further studies, especially on separationinduced transition flows, are required for the improvement of the new model.展开更多

It proposes three fundamental piezoresistance coefficients π11; π12 and π44 of the grain neutral and grain boundary regions, separately. With those piezoresistance coefficients, the gauge factors of the p-type polysilicon nanofilm and the p-type common polysilicon film are calculated, and then the plots of the gauge factor as a function of doping concentration are given, which are consistent with the experimental results.展开更多

Based on the propagation ...By applying the ABCD matrix method, we report the propagating properties of the rotating elliptical Gaussian beams(REGBs) from the right-handed material(RHM) to the left-handed material(LHM). Based on the propagation equation, we obtain the intensity distributions of the REGBs during the propagation. It is found that the rotating direction of the REGBs is opposite in the RHM and the LHM, and the rotation angles tend to be π /2 as the propagation distance is long enough.Then we analyze the relationship between the refractive index and the rotating velocity. Furthermore, the energy flow and the angular momentum(AM) of the REGBs which can rotate are also obtained.展开更多

The characteristics of the output temporal shapes are of primary concern and are discussed in detail. Amplitude modulation suppressing effects of multiphoton absorbers are numerically demonstrated; they have not been reported previously, to our knowledge.
