Neural stem cells,which are capable of multi-potential differentiation and self-renewal,have recently been shown to have clinical potential for repairing central nervous system tissue damage.However,the theme trends and knowledge structures for human neural stem cells have not yet been studied bibliometrically.In this study,we retrieved 2742 articles from the PubMed database from 2013 to 2018 using "Neural Stem Cells" as the retrieval word.Co-word analysis was conducted to statistically quantify the characteristics and popular themes of human neural stem cell-related studies.Bibliographic data matrices were generated with the Bibliographic Item Co-Occurrence Matrix Builder.We identified 78 high-frequency Medical Subject Heading(MeSH)terms.A visual matrix was built with the repeated bisection method in gCLUTO software.A social network analysis network was generated with Ucinet 6.0 software and GraphPad Prism 5 software.The analyses demonstrated that in the 6-year period,hot topics were clustered into five categories.As suggested by the constructed strategic diagram,studies related to cytology and physiology were well-developed,whereas those related to neural stem cell applications,tissue engineering,metabolism and cell signaling,and neural stem cell pathology and virology remained immature.Neural stem cell therapy for stroke and Parkinson’s disease,the genetics of microRNAs and brain neoplasms,as well as neuroprotective agents,Zika virus,Notch receptor,neural crest and embryonic stem cells were identified as emerging hot spots.These undeveloped themes and popular topics are potential points of focus for new studies on human neural stem cells. 展开更多

The study of the development cost of general aviation aircraft is limited by small samples with many cost-driven factors. This paper investigates a parametric modeling method for prediction of the development cost of general aviation aircraft. The proposed technique depends on some principal components, acquired by utilizing P value analysis and gray correlation analysis. According to these principal components, the corresponding linear regression and BP neural network models are established respectively. The feasibility and accuracy of the P value analysis are verified by comparing results of model fitting and prediction. A sensitivity analysis related to model precision and suitability is discussed in detail. Results obtained in this study show that the proposed method not only has a certain degree of versatility, but also provides a preliminary prediction of the development cost of general aviation aircraft. 展开更多

Pinch analysis, as a technique to optimise the utilisation of resources, traces its beginnings to the 1970s in Switzerland and the UK ETH Zurich and Leeds University to be more precise. Over four decades down the line, this methodology has entrenched itself in research circles around the world. While the technique was developed, to begin with, for energy (heat) recovery, it has since then expanded to embrace several other fields, and enabled optimisation of resource utilisation in general. The motive behind this article is to perform a focused, selective review of recent case studies from the developing world and transition economies, having ‘pinch analysis’ in their titles and thereby as their ‘core, crux and gist’, during the period 2008-2018. The resources focused on, include heat energy, electrical energy, water, solid waste, money, time, land (surface area), storage space (volume), human resources, mass of resources in general and hydrogen, while a handful of publications have their focus on carbon dioxide (greenhouse gases in general) emissions. Multi-dimensional pinch analysis promises to be an effective tool for sustainability analysis in the years to come;most importantly in the developing world where social well-being and economic development are priorities in the years ahead, and they ought to be attained by a simultaneous truncation of the environmental footprint, in other words, an optimisation of resource utilisation as well as adverse environmental impacts. In other words, the focus ought to be on sustainable production (efficiency) and consumption (sufficiency). 展开更多

In this paper,the main aim is the performances modelling from the electrical and thermal point of view of a concentrating photovoltaic and thermal (CPV/T)system in order to evaluate the primary energy and economic savings respect to a traditional system,when the same energy loads are satisfied.This study is realized by both varying the CPV/T system configuration and considering two different users.In particular,the point-focus (PF),and linear focus (LF)configurations of the CPV/T system are considered in order to match the residential user and hotel energy loads.The CPV/T system is sized adopting as input data:the Direct Normal Irradiance (DN1)modelled by an artificial neural network and the users'energy demands.In these hypotheses,the performances of the PF and LF systems are evaluated and then compared for the two users located in Southern Italy,in terms of electrical and thermal energy production,cells number,space occupied,energy and economic savings and CO2 emissions avoided.Finally,the PF system shows a lower simple pay-back and a higher primary energy saving,while the space occupied by a LF system results to be lower respect to the PF configuration. 展开更多

The traditional Chinese medicine of Radix Hedysari plays an important role in invigorating gas for ascending, benefiting blood for promoting production of fluid, and promoting circulation for removing obstruction in collaterals, which is consistent with the principle of treatment for osteoporosis. This study is designed to investigate the bioactive components on increasing peak bone mass (PBM) by exploring the spectrum-effect relationship between chromatography fingerprints and effect. Multiple indicators are selected to evaluate the pharmacological activity. In fingerprints, 21 common peaks are obtained, five of which are identified. Furthermore, gray relational analysis (GRA) is a quantitative method of gray system theory and is used to describe the correlation degree of common peaks and pharmacological activities with relational value. 21 components are then divided into three different regions, of which ononin and calycosin play an extremely significant role in increasing PBM. In addition, factor analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) are used to screen the optimal producing area for Radix Hedysari. This provides a comprehensive and efficient method to improve the quality evaluation of Radix Hedysari, confirming the bioactive components for PBM-enhancement and further develop its medicinal value. 展开更多

A cloud method for generating percentile engineering demand parameter versus intensity measure(EDP-IM) curves of a structure subjected to a set of synthetic ground motions is presented. To this end, an ensemble of synthetic ground motions based on available real ones is generated. This is done by using attenuation relationships, duration and suitable Gutenberg-Richter relations attributed to the considered seismic hazard at a given site by estimating a suitable distribution of magnitude and site to source distance. The study aims to clarify the significance of the duration and frequency content on the seismic performance of structures, which were not considered in developing percentile incremental dynamic analysis(IDA) curves. The collapse probabilities of two steel moment-resisting frames with different ductility levels generated by IDA and the proposed cloud method are compared at different intensity levels. When compared with conventional IDA, the suggested cloud analysis(SCA) methodology with the same run number of dynamic analyses was able to develop response hazard curves that were more consistent with site-specific seismic hazards. Eliminating the need to find many real records by generating synthetic records consistent with site-specific seismic hazards from a few available recorded ground motions is another advantage of using this scheme over the IDA method. 展开更多

Bioinformatics Based Therapeutic Effects of Sinomenium Acutum

Objective: To decipher the possible mechanisms of Sinomenium Acutum(SA) in treating diseases by a bioinformatics method. Methods: SA ingredients were searched according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia, Chinese Medicine Dictionary and Traditional Chinese Medicines Database(TCMD). Active compounds and target proteins of SA were acquired through the Pubchem platform. Pathway, network and function analyses of SA were performed with ingenuity pathway analysis(IPA), a bioinformatics analysis platform. Disease, biofunction-target networks were established with Cytoscape. Results: Eighteen ingredients from SA were obtained. Seven active ingredients with 31 active target proteins were acquired according to PubChem Bioassay test. By IPA analysis, 277 canonical pathways belonging to 17 function categories were collected, 23 kinds of diseases, 21 categories bio-functions were obtained. Based on P value, calculated by IPA, the top 5 significant pathway of SA targets include phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/Akt(PI3 K/Akt) signaling, prostate cancer signaling, macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF) regulation of innate immunity, Guanosine-binding protein coupled receptor(GPCR) signaling, and ataxia telangiectasia mutated protein(ATM) signaling. Disease and bio-function network analysis indicated that mitogen activated protein kinase 1(MAPK1), MAPK3, p65 nuclear factor κB(RELA), nuclear factor of κB inhibitor alpha(NFκBIA), interleukin 1β(IL-1β), prostaglandin G/H synthase 2(PTGS2) and tumor protein 53(TP53) were the critical targets in various diseases treated by SA. Conclusions: In the different view of target, pathway, disease and bio-function, inflammation was found to be a central theme in many chronic conditions. SA could be used not only as an anti-inflammatory agent, but also for the treatment of cancers, neurological diseases, psychological disorders and metabolic diseases. 展开更多

In the seismic event classification,determining the seismic features of rockfall is significantly important for the automatic classification of seismic events because of the huge amount of raw data recorded by seismic stations in continuous monitoring. At the same time, the rockfall seismic features are still not completely understood.This study concentrates on the rockfall frequency content, amplitude(ground velocity), seismic waveform and duration analysis, of an artificial rockfall test at Torgiovannetto(a former quarry in Central Italy). A total of 90 blocks were released in the test, and their seismic signals and moving trajectories were recorded by four tri-axial seismic stations and four cameras, respectively. In the analysis processing,all the artificial rockfall signal traces were cut separately and the seismic features were extracted individually and automatically. In this study, the relationships between a) frequency content and impacted materials, b) frequency content and the distance between block releasing position and seismic station(source-receiver distance) were discussed. As a result, we found that the frequency content of rockfall focuses on 10-60 Hz and 80-90 Hz within a source-receiver distance of 200 m, and it is well correlated with impacted material and source-receiver distance. To evaluate the difference between earthquake and rockfall, 23 clear earthquake signals recorded in a seven month-long continuous seismic monitoring, carried out with the four seismic stations, were picked out, according to the Italian national earthquakes database(INGV). On these traces we performed the same analysis as in the artificial rockfall traces, and two parameters were defined to separate rockfall events from earthquake noise. The first one, the amplitude ratio, is related to the amplitude variation of rockfall between two stations and is greater than that of earthquakes, because of the higher attenuation occurring for rockfall events, which consists in high frequencies whereas for earthquakes it consists 展开更多

As a kind of efficient template to mediate the precise synthesis of metal nanomaterials, DNA can not only increase their recognition and biocompatibility, but also precisely control their morphology, structure and further analytical performance. DNA-mediated metal nanomaterials as ultrasensitive and selective probes have unique advantages for in situ rapid analysis of targets in complex samples. Herein, we reviewed the recent progress on synthesis strategies, morphologies, specific properties of DNA-mediated metal nanomaterials including nanoparticles and nanoclusters. Moreover, the applications of DNA-mediated metal nanomaterials to environmental and biological analysis were also summarized. OBJECTIVE:To research the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)practice of Professor Xu Runsan for treatment of chronic pelvic pain(CPP)caused by sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease(SPID)by data mining.METHODS:The medical records of inpatients at China-Japan Friendship Hospital confirmed to have CPP caused by SPID were collected(274 visits in total).The data extracted from the medical records were analyzed by frequency statistics,correlation analyses,cluster analyses,and complex network analyses.RESULTS:The most frequently used medicines were warm medicines,bitter medicines,and medicines distributed to the liver meridian.The most common medicinal combinations were Chishao(Radix Paeoniae Rubra)plus Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici)plus Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng)and Ezhu(Rhizoma Curcumae Phaeocoulis);Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi)plus Fuling(Poria)and Chishao(Radix Poeoniae Rubra);and Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis)plus Zhishi(Fructus Aurantii Immaturus)and Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae).The most frequently used medicines were divided into four groups according to their efficacy;i.e.,medicines that could(a)warm meridians and free collateral vessels,(b)regulate Qi and free collateral vessels,(c)fortify the spleen and nourish blood and Qi,and(d)tonify Qi and activate blood.The most commonly used formulations were Guizhi FulingPill and Sini Powder.The core medicines extracted based on complex network analyses were Chishao(Radix Poeoniae Rubra),Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng),Hua ngqi(Radix Astragali Mongolica),Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),Ezhu(Rhizoma Curcumae Phaeocaulis), Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis),Guizhi(Romulus Cinnomomi),Shuizhi(Hirudo), Fuling(Poria),and Zhishi(Fructus Aurantii Immaturus).CONCLUSION:According to the TCM practice of Professor Xui,treatment of CPP caused by SPID should focus on dissolving stasis and obstructions using medicines that can activate blood,resolve stasis,regulate Qi,and dissipate adhesions.His prescriptions are often based on Guizhi Fuling Pill and Sini Powder. 展开更多

Pressure transient analysis has been extensively applied to detect anomalies in a reservoir system.These anomalies may be presented in the form of an intersection of the crestal and the antithetic fault associated with a growth fault.Interpretation of this fault can only be achieved through the use of pressure transient analysis.The objective of the research work is to analyze and test the faulted crest,depth of the anticline structure and examine the near well bore conditions in order to evaluate whether the well productivity is governed by wellbore effects(skin effects+well bore effect)or the reservoir at large.A case study of a well in the Niger delta is considered with a series of build up test carried out in two intervals of both upper and lower gauge readings.In this study,a computer aided design which uses a pressure derivative approach is used in this work to match the pressure derivative of an intersecting fault(angle)model to the field data,and the model assumes the characteristics of the reservoir.Based on the result of the interpreted data,simulation is done by using a non linear regression method(least square).The simulated data interpreted are achieved through the regression coefficient which provides a quantitative measure of the agreement between field data and the model.In conclusion,the best cases are taken from all the results and a nodal analysis is performed to diagnose the inflow performance of the well through the transient analysis in order to optimize the recovery of the oilfield. 展开更多

Objective To establish finite element models of skull, fronto-orbital advancement and fronto-orbital distraction osteogenesis of craniosynostosis, to analyze the mechanical characteristics of skull base and fronto-orbital operation area, so as to guide the later app lication of distractors. Methods One 6-year-old male patient with unilateral coronal synostosis was enrolled in October 2015. Three-dimensional (3D) computed tomography (CT) scan of skull was performed. DICOM data was imported into Mimics 17.0 for contour extraction and cranial 3D reconstruction. The skull model was processed by Mimics, Geomagic Studio 12.0, Hypermesh 12.0 and other software to establish a three-dimensional finite element model. The unilateral and bilateral fronto-orbital anterior osteotomy models were simulated respectively. The mechanical analysis was performed at point A in forehead area and point B in temporal area. Three different groups of traction forces were loaded:(1) 50 Newton for point A, 50 Newton for point B;(2) 80 Newton for point A and 50 Newton for point B;(3) 100 Newton for point A and 50 Newton for point B, to obtain the optimized traction force.. Results Stress analysis was performed on established cranial finite element model, as well as unilateral and bilateral fronto-orbital advancement procedures. The stress distribution of the anterior and middle cranial fossae was found to be concentrated. After unilateral fronto-orbital advancement, the stress of anterior cranial fossa, especially the affected side, was decreased. The stress on both side in anterior cranial fossa was decreased after bilateral fronto-orbital advancement. After force was applied to point A and point B, the optimum deviation result at supraorbital notch point, midpoint of supraorbital margin, frontal temporal point and frontal zygomatic suture point in 3D (Deviation result of X value:-29.4%,-20.5%,-8.6%,-9.3%, Deviation result of Y value: 20.9%, 31.5%, 73.0%, 539.4%;Deviation result of Z value: 4.4%, 1.9%, 0.1%, 11.8) demonstrated the applicatio 展开更多

目的分析临床血液生化检验标本分析过程中影响检测准确性的单因素。方法选取2017年1~12月我院收集的100例临床血液生化检验标本作为研究对象,临床资料均齐全。按照采血部位的不同将其分为同侧采血部位组(82例)与异侧采血部位组(18例);... 目的分析临床血液生化检验标本分析过程中影响检测准确性的单因素。方法选取2017年1~12月我院收集的100例临床血液生化检验标本作为研究对象,临床资料均齐全。按照采血部位的不同将其分为同侧采血部位组(82例)与异侧采血部位组(18例);按照保存时间的不同将其分为规范送检组(82例)与1h送检组(18例);按照标本的不同将其分为正常血液组(82例)与溶血血液组(18例)。通过分析各组临床血液生化检验标本的检测结果,考察影响检验结果准确性的因素。结果临床血液生化检验标本检验合格82例(检验合格率为82.00%),检验不合格18例(检验不合格率为18.00%)。同侧采血部位组的天门冬氨酸氨基转移酶(AST)高于异侧采血部位组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。同侧采血部位组的丙氨酸氨基转移酶(ALT)、血清免疫球蛋白M(IgM)、三酰甘油(TG)、尿酸(UA)低于异侧采血部位组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。规范送检组的ALT、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)低于1h送检组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);规范送检组的AST、尿糖(GLU)高于1h送检组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。正常血液组的AST、LDH、GLU、肌酸激酶(CK)低于溶血血液组的检测结果,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。18例检验不合格的临床血液生化检验标本中,有4例为送检不及时,有12例为采集方法不准确,有2例为调配比例不合理,分别占比4.00%、12.00%、2.00%。结论临床血液生化检验标本分析过程中,其检测结果准确度与相关因素存在一定关系,如血液样本采集方法、血液样本保存时间、血液样本条件、血液样本抗凝剂以及血液量比例等,需引起临床检测者的高度重视。通过正确保存临床血液生化检验标本,严格依照相关规范准则进行检测,并严格把关,有助于提高临床血液生化检验标本的标本质量,也有利于提高临床检测准确度。 展开更多

This article analyzes the evolution of neuroaesthetics research,through 145 articles on topics related to“neuroaesthetics”derived from the Web of Science Core Collection from 1991 to 2018,uses CiteSpace to visualize the spatial distribution of publications,and analyzes outbreaks of keywords and highly cited references.The article tracks changes in the subject of neuroaesthetics,and identifies new trends in neuroaesthetics research.The article finds that the first period(1994-2005)of neuroaesthetics research focuses on the definition and scope of the field,and the value of the subject.The second period(2006-2018)mainly uses relevant experimental methods to focus on the two aspects which neuroaesthetics derives.Our research results show that this is a practice-oriented discipline.With the diversification of research methods and the distribution of academic groups around the world as shown by the survey network,international cooperation has become more and more extensive and in depth.Thus,the study of neuroaesthetics is promoted. 展开更多

To solve the problem of borehole trajectory uncertainty, some methods such as error ellipsoid posture characterization, sectional error ellipse solution and error elliptic cylinder construction were proposed and an application example was given. According to the definition of inclination, azimuth and tool-face angle, a characterization method of error ellipsoid posture of borehole trajectory was presented. By intercepting the error ellipsoid with an arbitrary plane in space, the general concept and algorithm of sectional error ellipse were established to analyze the borehole trajectory errors in horizontal plane, plumb plane, normal plane, etc. Based on the theory of surface tangency and curve projection, a construction method of error elliptic cylinder of borehole trajectory was put forward to evaluate the axial enveloping error of borehole trajectory and its variation along well depth. The research shows that the deeper the well, the greater the borehole trajectory error will be. In deep and ultra-deep wells measured using conventional measurement while drilling(MWD),the borehole trajectory position error reaches tens of meters. The research results provide a complete set of analysis methods for borehole trajectory error, which can evaluate the accuracy and reliability of borehole trajectory monitoring. 展开更多

Twenty shopping streets in Tokyo,Japan,were analyzed based on pedestrian vibrancy and visual information by assessing physical dimensions,objects,shops and quantity of pedestrians and walking speeds.Field survey recorded 12-h periods of a typical weekday by tracking daily variations between July 3rd to August 3rd,2017 and October 13th to November 10th,2018.For analysis,Hierarchical Cluster and Discriminant Analyses were performed using the statistical software,SPSS v.24.The study classifies four dusters of shopping streets accordingly to pedestrian vibrancy as eccentric,with large street dimensions and big retailing shops;strong,with variety of specialized daily life stores,balanced,with lower specialized daily life stores,closer residential area and moderate numbers of flower pots;and weakened,with very few shops,residential predominance and higher numbers of flower pots.Findings indicate that larger street dimensions together with specialization of shops,rather than variety or number,are prone to slow walking speeds and larger numbers of people.Also,it was noticeable the connection of number of flower pots with proximity of residential areas.It could be theorized that pedestrian vibrancy correlates inversely to the proximity of residential areas.The closer residential area is the lowest pedestrian vibrancy would be. 展开更多

Despite significant advancements in in situ test techniques,construction practices,understanding of rock joint and rock mass behaviours,and numerical analysis methods,the design of bored concrete cast-insitu piles in rock is still largely based on the assessment of bearing capacity.However,for many of the rock conditions encountered,the bearing capacity of piles is a nebulous concept and a figment of the designer’s imagination.Even if it can be reasonably quantified,it has little,if any,significance to the performance of a pile in rock.The load carrying capacity of even low strength rock(in most situations)is far in excess of the strength of the structure(for example,a building column)transmitting the load.Unsatisfactory performance of a pile in rock is usually a displacement issue and is a function of rock mass stiffness rather than rock mass strength.In addition,poor pile performance is much more likely to result from poor construction practices than excessive displacement of the rock mass.Exceptions occur for footings that are undermined,or where unfavourable structure in the rock allows movement towards a free surface to occur.Standards,codes of practices,reference books and other sources of design information should focus foundation design in rock on displacement rather than strength performance.Ground investigations should measure rock mass stiffness and defect properties,as well as intact rock strength.This paper summarises the fundamental concepts relating to performance of piles in rock and provides a basis for displacement focused design of piles in rock.It also presents comments relating to how piles are modelled in widely used commercial finite element software for soil-structure interaction analysis,within the context of the back-analysis of a pile load test,and proposes recommendations for pile analysis and design. 展开更多

In recent years,a large number of differentially expressed genes have been identified in human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell(hUMSC)transplants for the treatment of ischemic cerebral infarction.These genes are involved in various biochemical processes,but the role of microRNAs(miRNAs)in this process is still unclear.From the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database,we downloaded two microarray datasets for GSE78731(messenger RNA(mRNA)profile)and GSE97532(miRNA profile).The differentially expressed genes screened were compared between the hUMSC group and the middle cerebral artery occlusion group.Gene ontology enrichment and pathway enrichment analyses were subsequently conducted using the online Database for Annotation,Visualization,and Integrated Discovery.Identified genes were applied to perform weighted gene co-suppression analyses,to establish a weighted co-expression network model.Furthermore,the protein-protein interaction network for differentially expressed genes from turquoise modules was built using Cytoscape(version 3.40)and the most highly correlated subnetwork was extracted from the protein-protein interaction network using the MCODE plugin.The predicted target genes for differentially expressed miRNAs were also identified using the online database starBase v3.0.A total of 3698 differentially expressed genes were identified.Gene ontology analysis demonstrated that differentially expressed genes that are related to hUMSC treatment of ischemic cerebral infarction are involved in endocytosis and inflammatory responses.We identified 12 differentially expressed miRNAs in middle cerebral artery occlusion rats after hUMSC treatment,and these differentially expressed miRNAs were mainly involved in signaling in inflammatory pathways,such as in the regulation of neutrophil migration.In conclusion,we have identified a number of differentially expressed genes and differentially expressed mRNAs,miRNA-mRNAs,and signaling pathways involved in the hUMSC treatment of ischemic cerebral infarction.Bioinformatics and 展开更多
