Virgin olive oil is obtained from the fruit of the olive tree, and only using physical processes, without resorting to refining steps, the absence of the latter allows the olive oil to retain all its antioxidants. This work is a contribution to the characterization of the properties of olive oil in the region of Tlemcen. They relate more particularly to the comparison of the physicochemical properties of two oils, one from traditional extraction and the other from industrial extraction. To do this, the first objective of studies of the two chains of transformation (traditional and industrial) was made followed by a physicochemical and organoleptic comparison of these two oils of olives, to conclude on the advantages and disadvantages of each of the two processes. 展开更多

The integration of the Internet and the traditional manufacturing industry makes the industrial Internet of things(IIoT)as a popular research topic.However,traditional industrial networks continue to face challenges of resource management and limited raw data storage and computation capacity.A novel software defined industrial network(SDIN)architecture was proposed to address the existing drawbacks in IIoT such as resource utilization,data processing and storage,and system compatibility.The architecture is developed based on the software defined network(SDN)architecture,combining hierarchical cloud and fog computing and content-aware caching technologies.Based on the SDIN architecture,two types of edge computing strategies in in dustrial applications are discussed.Different scenarios and service requirements are considered.The simulation results confirm that the SDIN architecture is feasible and effective in the application of edge computing offloading. 展开更多

In the course of urbanization in recent decades, plenty of labor, capital and materials have been migrated from rural areas to urban areas, resulting in many problems such as imbalance between urban and rural development and loss of rural vitality. To this end, a rural revitalization strategy has been proposed. Industrial revitalization is an important part of rural revitalization. The convergent development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries is the only way to achieve industrial revitalization in rural areas in the future. With Jiuling Village, Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province as the object of study, this paper expounded the necessity of the convergent development of industries, explored the path of industrial convergence of rural areas, and analyzed the supporting system behind it from three aspects of land, finance and grassroots organization construction. 展开更多

At present, the actual situation of the production and marketing of the new energy automobile industry in our country is that it develops fast but is not perfect, and its output and sales are large but its quality is not good. Combined Fenton process and sulfide precipitation for removal of heavy metals from industrial wastewater:Bench and pilot scale studies focusing on in-depth thallium removal

Thallium (Tl) in industrial wastewater is a public health concern due to its extremely high toxicity. However, there has been limited research regarding Tl removal techniques and engineering practices to date. In this investigation, bench and pilot studies on advanced treatment of industrial wastewater to remove Tl to a trace level were conducted. The treatment process involved a combination of hydroxide precipitation, Fenton oxidation, and sulfide precipitation. While hydroxide precipitation was ineffective for Tl^+ removal, it enabled the recovery of approximately 70%-80% of Zn as Zn hydroxide in alkaline conditions. The Fenton process provided good Tl removal (>95%) through oxidation and precipitation. Tl was then removed to trace levels (< 1.0 μg/L) via sulfide precipitation. Effective removal of other heavy metals was also achieved, with Cd < 13.4 μg/L, Cu < 39.6 μg/L, Pb < 5.32 μg/L, and Zn < 357 μg/L detected in the effluent. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated that T12S precipitate formed due to sulfide precipitation. Other heavy metals were removed via the formation of metal hydroxides during hydroxide precipitation and Fenton treatment, as well as via the formation of metal sulfides during sulfide precipitation. This combined process provides a scalable approach for the in-depth removal of Tl and other heavy metals from industrial wastewater. 展开更多

There is a pressing need for a fast and straightforward robot programming method, especially for surface-based tasks. At present, these tasks are time-consuming and expensive, and it requires an experienced and skilled operator to program the robot for a specific task. Hence, it is essential to automate the tool-path generation in order to eliminate the manual planning. This challenging research has attracted great attention from both industry and academia. In this paper, a tool-path generation method based on a mesh model is introduced. The bounding box tree and kdtree are adopted in the algorithm to derive the tool path. In addition, the algorithm is integrated into an offline robot programming system offering a comprehensive solution for robot modeling, simulation, as well as tool-path generation. Finally, a milling experiment is performed by creating tool paths on the surface thereby demonstrating the effectiveness of the system. 展开更多

Chalcogenide nanostructured semiconductor, copper sulfide (CuS) was prepared from copper and sulfur powders in stoichiometric ratio by a simple, fast, and convenient one-step mechanochemical synthesis after 40 min of milling in an industrial eccentric vibratory mill. The kinetics of the mechanochemical synthesis and the influence of the physical properties of two Cu powder precursor types on the kinetics were studied. The crystal structure, physical properties, and morphology of the product were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), the specific surface area measurements, particle size distribution and scanning electron microscopy. The XRD analysis confirmed the hexagonal crystal structure of the product-CuS (covellite) with the average size of the crystallites 11 nm. The scanning electron microscopy analysis has revealed that the agglomerated grains have a plate-like structure composed of CuS nanoparticles. The thermal analysis was performed to investigate the thermal stability of the mechanochemically synthesized CuS. The optical properties were studied using UV-Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The determined optical band gap energy 1.80 eV responds to the value of the bulk CuS, because of agglomerated nanoparticles. In addition, a mechanism of CuS mechanochemical reaction was proposed, and the verification of CuS commercial production was performed. 展开更多

This research was conducted in qualitative approach.The researcher has worked with developing a framework based on the concept of artificial intelligence(AI)to introduce a new model.On that purpose,primary data were collected from hundred customers who enjoyed in services of interactive voice recognition(IVR)in the Banking Industry in Sri Lanka based on interviews with an open-ended question.The researcher has coded the collected data to spot the patterns to identify and analyze the core relationship in between AI and IVR;to discuss and to revise the developed model.The samples are selected in accordance with the intention to extract relevant information,and thus,the researcher has used non-probability sampling aimed to find respondents that had some experiences with any types of services in IVR.Data were analyzed by labeling them as“codes”and the researcher went through all the labels that were constructed in the previous stage;these were then categorized once more into themes.These themes and labels were then used to spot indications and patterns in the data that the researchers used when analyzing their primary data.The findings of this study suggest that customers are skeptical towards in interactive voice recognition in telephone customer services and believe that the service quality would be lower than regular telephone service.The findings did however reflect that customers are willing to cope or adjust to new technology as long as there are alternatives them to be satisfied. 展开更多

Shopping Search Engine(SSE)implies a unique challenge for validating distinct items available online in market place.For sellers,having a user finding relevant search results on top is very difficult.Buyers tend to click on and buy from the listings which appear first.Search engine optimization devotes that goal to influence such challenges.In current shopping search platforms,lots of irrelevant items retrieved from their indices;e.g.retrieving accessories of exact items rather than retrieving the items itself,regardless the price of item were considered or not.Also,users tend to move from shoppers to another searching for appropriate items where the time is crucial for consumers.In our proposal,we exploit the drawbacks of current shopping search engines,and the main goal of this research is to combine and merge multiple search results retrieved from some highly professional shopping sellers in the commercial market.Experimental results showed that our approach is more efficient and robust for retrieving a complete list of desired and relevant items with respect to all query space. 展开更多

This paper constructs coefficients of the integral and the internal structure upgrading in the secondary and tertiary industries, selects per capita real gross domestic product as a threshold variable and build panel threshold model according to inter-provincial panel data of China from 1998 to 2016. Results indicated that population aging has a double threshold effect on the integral industrial structure upgrading, whose influence increases first and then decreases, significantly promoting the upgrading process. As for internal structure, population aging has no significant threshold effect on the upgrading in the secondary industry, but exerts a single negative threshold effect in the tertiary industry. When economic development is under the threshold, its negative impact is greater. Further analysis also suggests that regional differences exist significantly in the threshold effect of population aging on the industrial structure upgrading. 展开更多

Laopingzi Village,Jiaopingdu Town,Luquan County,Kunming County,Yunnan Province,located in the dry-hot valley area of Jinsha River,has become a typical deep poverty-stricken village due to its special natural conditions.In recent years,in the battle to win the fight against poverty,the people of Laopingzi Village have achieved a virtuous cycle of the ecological environment and an access to get rid of poverty and get rich through vigorously developing green prickleyash planting industry. By the end of 2018,the incidence of poverty in Laopingzi Village Committee dropped from 45. 62% in 2014 to 1. 11%,and the green prickleyash planting industry had achieved remarkable results in poverty alleviation.
