By using the cancellation mechanism in the system observed in [12], the lifespan of solution is shown to have a lower bound in the order of ε-2- if the strength of the perturbation is of the order of ε. Since there is no restriction on the strength of the shear flow and the lifespan estimate is larger than the one obtained for the classical Prandtl system in this setting, it reveals the stabilizing effect of the magnetic field on the electrically conducting fluid near the boundary.展开更多

During the construction of multifunctional landscape(MFL)actor-network,economic,social,and ecological functions presented significant differences,which resulted from the different roles and effects of various heteroge...During the construction of multifunctional landscape(MFL)actor-network,economic,social,and ecological functions presented significant differences,which resulted from the different roles and effects of various heterogeneous actors according to the tourism experience.In Hekou Village at the border area between China and North Korea,the roles and effects of heterogeneous actors during the MFL actor-network construction were analyzed by means of the analytic network process(ANP),which verified the Groundings-Entrepreneurship-Markets(GEM)theoretical framework of the MFL actor-network that assumed tourism experiences were core actors,and economic,social,and ecological landscape actors acted as support.Research results showed that in the MFL actornetwork construction,social and economic functions of landscapes were strong,while ecological and tourism experience functions were weak and that folk customs and land utilization were key actors of the MFL actor-network construction.In the MFL actor-network construction,actors played different roles and had different effects on the network.Intelligence facilities and rurality were critical to drive the MFL actor network translation process and pass through“obligatory passage point”.By changing the interaction mode and intensity of the actors,the MFL actor-network could be promoted.展开更多

The obtained results reveal that in the spin symmetric limit discrete spectrum exists, while in the pseudo-spin symmetric limit it does not.In this manuscript, new insights and information are given by employing an analogy of the variational principle. The role of the difference of the magnitudes of the vector and scalar potential energies, namely the differentiation parameter,on the energy spectrum is examined. It is observed that the differentiation parameter determines the measure of the energy spectrum density by modifying the confined particle’s mass-energy in addition to narrowing the spectrum interval length.展开更多

In the...In this paper, a nearly analytic discretization method for one-dimensional linear unsteady convection-dominated diffusion equations and viscous Burgers’ equation as one of the nonlinear equation is considered. In the case of linear equations, we find the local truncation error of the scheme is O(τ 2 + h4) and consider the stability analysis of the method on the basis of the classical von Neumann’s theory. In addition, the nearly analytic discretization method for the one-dimensional viscous Burgers’ equation is also constructed. The numerical experiments are performed for several benchmark problems presented in some literatures to illustrate the theoretical results. Theoretical and numerical results show that our method is to be higher accurate and nonoscillatory and might be helpful particularly in computations for the unsteady convection-dominated diffusion problems.展开更多

Water-conserving mining is an effective way to alleviate the contradiction between fragile ecological environment and high-intensity coal mining in the arid and semi-arid region of northwest China. It needs to conside...Water-conserving mining is an effective way to alleviate the contradiction between fragile ecological environment and high-intensity coal mining in the arid and semi-arid region of northwest China. It needs to consider the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods of coal seams. From the three aspects, this paper systematically analyzes the influencing factors and establishes an identification model with multi-level structures. The model includes three primary factors (including the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods), nine secondary factors (including overlying strata thickness, aquiclude, mining parameters and etc.), sixteen third-tier factors (including the faults, aquiclude thickness and effective mining height and etc.) and twelve fourth-tier factors (including the fault throw exp on ent, aquiclude permeability and coal pillar sizes and etc.). On the basis, the analytic hierarchy process is used to build the judgment matrix and obtain the weight of each influencing factor. The results indicate that the overlying strata thickness, aquiclude and effective mining height are the most import a nt factors among the primary factors of engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods, respectively. The research results could provide theoretical references for the water-conserving mining of coal resources in northwest China.展开更多

The model is constructed by t...In this paper, we propose a two-dimensional(2D) analytic model for the channel potential and electric field distribution of the RESURF AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors(HEMTs). The model is constructed by two-dimensional Poisson’s equation with appropriate boundary conditions. In the RESURF AlGaN/GaN HEMTs, we utilize the RESURF effect generated by doped negative charge in the AlGaN layer and introduce new electric field peaks in the device channels,thus, homogenizing the distribution of electric field in channel and improving the breakdown voltage of the device. In order to reveal the influence of doped negative charge on the electric field distribution, we demonstrate in detail the influences of the charge doping density and doping position on the potential and electric field distribution of the RESURF AlGaN/GaN HEMTs with double low density drain(LDD). The validity of the model is verified by comparing the results obtained from the analytical model with the simulation results from the ISE software. This analysis method gives a physical insight into the mechanism of the AlGaN/GaN HEMTs and provides reference to modeling other AlGaN/GaN HEMTs device.展开更多
