G.W.莱布尼茨是近代西方哲学史上最卓越的先驱之一。他从不同角度对“物体是实体还是现象”的哲学问题的阐释,使得其哲学的全景系统呈现出较大的差异。他一方面认为物体作为现象是意识派生的存在,物体具有的实在性处于意识具有的统一性之下。另一方面,他把物理学上的物体概念也作为实体来积极地进行解释。他关于物体概念的定位使得其哲学系统难以为人所理解。从莱布尼茨物体哲学出发,通过系统探讨他的“力”的概念的变迁,可以发现莱布尼茨对“力”的概念的二元化的积极评价阐明了物体具有的两义性,即实在性和现象性。而运动作为现象的性质也拓展了他所处时代力学的学问领域。在此意义上,“力”的概念问题的深化于莱布尼茨而言是划时代的成果。对“力”的概念问题的理解也有助于我们洞悉其物体哲学系统的精髓。 展开更多

In this paper,the attitude tracking control problem for a rigid spacecraft in the presence of system parameter uncertainties and external disturbances is addressed.First,a new nonsingular finite-time sliding surface is introduced and third-order sliding mode finite-time attitude control law is designed to achieve precise accurate tracking responses and robustness against inertia uncertainties and external disturbances.The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved using the Lyapunov stability theory.Then,a new finite-time extended state observer is established to estimate total disturbances of the system.The extended stated observer-based sliding mode control technique yields improved disturbance rejection and high-precision attitude tracking.Moreover,this control law can avoid the unwinding phenomenon and overcome the input saturation constraint by introducing an auxiliary variable to compensate for the overshooting.A Lyapunov based analysis is provided to guarantee sufficiently small observation error and stabilization of the closed-loop system in finite time.Numerical simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method. 展开更多

Nontrivial Effect of Time-Varying Migration on the Three Species Prey-Predator System

Migration is ubiquitous in ecosystem and often plays an important role in biological diversity. In this work,by introducing a time-varying migration rate associated with the difference of subpopulation density into a prey, we study the Hopf bifurcation and the critical phenomenon of predator extinction of the three species prey-predator system,which consists of a predator, a prey and a mobile prey. It is found that the system with migration exhibits richer dynamic behaviors than that without migration, including two Hopf bifurcations and two limit cycles. Interestingly,the parameters of migration have a drastically influence on the critical point of predator extinction, determining the coexistence of species. Moreover, the population evolution dynamics of one-dimensional multiple prey-predator system are also discussed. 展开更多

A new equation is proposed for the design of armor units on protected river banks under the combined action of ship-induced waves and river flow.Existing observed field and experimental data in the literature have been examined and a valuable database has been developed.Different conditions,including the river water depth,flow velocity,river bank slope,Froude number,wave height,wave period,and wave obliquity have been considered.Results from an empirical equation (Bhowmik,1978) that only considers the maximum wave height and river bank slope have been compared with the results calculated by the newly developed equation.Calculated results have also been verified against field data.Results show that not only the maximum wave height and river bank slope but also the water depth,flow velocity,wave length,wave obliquity,and wave period are important parameters for predicting the mean diameter of the armor units,highlighting the multivariate behavior of protecting the river bank in the presence of ship-induced waves and river flow velocity. 展开更多

This paper describes an experimental and theoretical study on an extraction phenomenon of liquids occurring at an air gap between the liquid surface and the electrode by applying a direct current (DC) or low-frequency alternating current (AC) voltage. Three liquids with a different physical property;2,3-dihydrodecafluoropenten, palm fatty acid ester oil and crude rapeseed oil are used as working liquids. The electrode configuration is the sphere or plane (high voltage electrode) to grounded plane electrode. The grounded plane electrode is fixed to the bottom of the test vessel with working liquid and the high voltage electrode is installed in an air above the liquid surface against the grounded plane electrode. The liquid surface swells towards the high voltage electrode by the increase of voltage and the liquid is extracted in a short time, thereafter the air gap between the liquid surface and the high voltage electrode is bridged at a thick liquid column. Such the liquid behavior displays unique features with voltage polarity effect for each working liquid. The relationship between the applied voltage, current variation, height of swollen liquid, force pulling liquid and dynamic feature of liquid is examined experimentally. The liquid behavior is considered theoretically based on experimental observations. 展开更多

Based on the multiple wedge effects,a petal-shaped capsule robot(PCR)is proposed,and the self-centering phenomenon of the PCR is discovered.For investigating the self-centering characteristics,an innovative concept of the instantaneous fluid membrane(FM)thickness,along with the dynamic FM thickness,is proposed;thus a dynamic FM thickness model and a hydrodynamic pressure(HP)model are derived when the PCR axis deviates from the pipe axis under the effect of gravity.A kinematics equation during suspending process in the vertical direction and a swimming kinematics equation in axial direction are derived respectively.Four capsule robots with different eccentricities of the tiles were manufactured and tested,the theoretical and experimental results show that the HP gradient is a fundamental reason for the self-centering phenomenon.The PCR with the self-centering ability can directly avoid the contact with the bottom of the gastrointestinal(GI)tract,achieving the excellent obstacle surmounting ability in the GI complex environment with the less twisted impact on the GI tract,which has a promising application prospect in the GI diagnosis. 展开更多

The erythrocyte and blood flowing in the blood vessel can be treated as the two-phase flow of the mixture of particles and a power-law fluid in a peristaltic tube.In the present work, the peristaltic transport of a power-law fluid and the suspension of particles in a tube is investigated by a perturbation method using the long wavelength approximation. The influence of different parameters on the velocity profile and streamlines is explored. Results show that there is a deflection of the flow field when the power-law index n = 0.5 or 1.5 compared with the Newtonian fluid where the trapping zone is symmetric to a certain cross section. The flux rate and reflux of the material are identified,and the conditions under which the reflux appears are determined. Moreover, a reflux phenomenon occurs near the wall. The trapping zone is related to not only the tube geometry and the flow flux but also the fluid properties. Both the length and width of the trapping zone increase with an increase in θ or φ. The trapping zone is more difficult to produce in the shear-thinning fluid than the shear-thickening fluid. 展开更多
