An innovative approach to H2 S capture has been developed using several metal-based ionic liquids([Bmim]Cl·CuCl2,[Bmim]Cl·FeCl3,[Bmim]Cl·ZnCl2,[Bmim]Br·CuCl2, and [Bmim]Br·FeCl3) immobilized on the sol-gel derived silica, which is superior to purely viscous ionic liquid with a crucial limit of high temperature, low mass transfer rate,and mass loss. The adsorbents were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, transmission electron microscope, N2 adsorption/desorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and thermal analysis techniques. The effects of the metal and halogen in IL, the loading amount of IL, and the adsorption temperature were studied by dynamic adsorption experiments at a gas flow rate of 100 mL/min. The H2 S adsorption results have showed that the optimal adsorbent and adsorption temperature are 5%[Bmim]Cl·CuCl2/silica gel and 20-50 ℃, respectively. H2 S can be captured and oxidized to elemental sulfur, and [Bmim]Cl·CuCl2/silica gel can be readily regenerated by air. The excellent efficiency of H2 S removal may be attributed to the formation of nano-scaled and high-concentration [Bmim]Cl·CuCl2 confined in silica gel, indicating that the immobilization of [Bmim]Cl·CuCl2 on the sol-gel derived silica can be used for H2 S removal promisingly. 展开更多

In this paper,AgBF4/[emim][BF4] supported ionic liquid membranes(SILMs) were prepared successfully for CO/N2 separation using nitrogen pressure immobilization procedures.The incorporation of AgBF4 could decrease membrane weight loss,improve the pressure-resistant ability,and keep the critical pressure(0.45 MPa) of the SILMs.The high viscosity and undissolved Ag BF4 solids in membrane liquid would disturb gas molecular transport through membrane and give rise to the gas transport resistance.Therefore,the gas permeability decreased remarkably with increasing AgBF4 carrier content in the membrane.When the molar ratio of AgBF4 to [emim][BF4] increased from 0:1 to 0.3:1,the CO/N2 selectivity of the SILMs showed a great increase from ~1 to ~9 at 20 °C and 0.4 MPa,suggesting that AgBF4 was an effective carrier for CO facilitated transport.The permeabilities of N2 and CO increased at higher transmembrane pressure,indicating that molecular transport would dominate the transport process at high pressure.The temperature-dependent gas permeability followed the Arrhenius equation.Moreover,the differences between the activation energies of CO and N2 became larger after introducing AgBF4,resulting in more obvious decrease in the CO/N2 selectivity at higher operating temperature. 展开更多

A catalytic approach using a synthesized iron and manganese oxide-supported granular activated carbon(Fe-Mn GAC) under a dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) plasma was investigated to enhance the degradation of oxytetracycline(OTC) in water. The prepared Fe-Mn GAC was characterized by x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, and the results showed that the bimetallic oxides had been successfully spread on the GAC surface. The experimental results showed that the DBD?+?Fe-Mn GAC exhibited better OTC removal efficiency than the sole DBD and DBD?+?virgin GAC systems. Increasing the fabricated catalyst and discharge voltage was favorable to the antibiotic elimination and energy yield in the hybrid process. The coupling process could be elucidated by the ozone decomposition after Fe-Mn GAC addition, and highly hydroxyl and superoxide radicals both play significant roles in the decontamination. The main intermediate products were identified by HPLC-MS to study the mechanism in the collaborative system. 展开更多

In this work, a multi-layer anode supported solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) is designed and successfully prepared through sequential tape casting and co-firing. The single cell is consisted of NiO-3 YSZ(3 YSZ: 3 mol.% yttria doped zirconia) anode support, NiO-8 YSZ(8 YSZ: 8 mol.% yttria stabilized zirconia) anode functional layer, dense 8 YSZ electrolyte layer, and porous 3 YSZ cathode scaffold layer with infiltrated La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ cathode. The clear interfaces and good contacts between each layer, without element inter-diffusion being observed, suggest that this sequential tape casting and co-firing is a feasible and successful route for anode supported single cell fabrication. This cell exhibits remarkable high open circuit voltage of 1.097 V at 800?C under room temperature humidified hydrogen, with highly dense and gastight electrolyte layer. It provides a power density of 360 mW/cm2 under operation voltage of0.75 V at 800?C and a stable operation of ~110 h at 750?C under current density of-300 mA/cm2. Furthermore, this cell also presents encouraging electrochemical responses under various anode hydrogen partial pressures and maintains high power output at low fuel concentrations. 展开更多

Performance investigation of Fe3O4 blended poly(vinylidene fluoride) membrane on filtration and benzyl alcohol oxidation:Evaluation of sufficiency for catalytic reactors

Fe3O4-PVDF membranes were prepared by blending of magnetic Fe3O4 powders with polyvinylidene fluoride to investigate whether those were usable or not in catalytic membrane reactors. Filtration performances and catalytic activity of membranes in microwave conditions were measured in separate processes. Composite Fe3O4-PVDF membranes were characterized by TG-DTA, FTIR, XRD, SEM and contact angle techniques.Disappearing of α-phases at PVDF was observed with increasing amount of additives from XRD diffraction patterns. Decomposition of polymer fastened due to catalytic effect of Fe3O4. Finger-like structures and large number of small pores were observed at the SEM images. Those provided effective transportation of substrate among the active sites of catalyst. At the experiments conducted in batch reactor, 51%, 77%, 66% and 63% benzyl alcohol conversion were recorded for 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% Fe3O4-PVDF composite pieces respectively. Catalyst were separated magnetically and reused several times. On the other hand Fe3O4 blended PVDF membranes provided improved flux and BSA rejection compared with performance of bare PVDF membrane;41.6% BSA rejection was obtained with 4% Fe3O4-PVDF whereas it was only 6.7% for PVDF. Fe3O4-PVDF composites performed high activity for the benzyl alcohol oxidation in batch reactor and also better filtration at filtration cell. These results promise to obtain practical and low cost membrane material for catalytic reactors usable in microwave support to get fast results. 展开更多

Pd-Cu-Clx/Al2O3催化剂对CO氧化的稳定性 预览

CO催化氧化广泛应用于空气净化、机动车尾气治理和CO气体传感器中.在CO氧化催化剂设计与制备过程中,催化剂与使用环境密切相关.例如工业和机动车尾气净化需要在高温(200–600°C)下进行,而对于半密闭空间(隧道或者地下停车场)空气净化需要在室温和高相对湿度下进行.频繁冷启动导致半密闭空间CO浓度累积而超过排放控制标准,因此制备室温、高相对湿度下CO氧化催化剂是面临的重要问题之一.负载型Wacker催化剂对于CO低温催化氧化的研究一直受到广泛关注.环境中少量水的存在会促进负载型Wacker催化剂对CO的低温氧化性能,但随着水沉积量的增加,活性位点将被覆盖,并且Pd和Cu活性组分之间的紧密结构被破坏,从而导致催化剂的失活,即催化剂的稳定性变差.因此,为了提高催化剂在高相对湿度下的稳定性,利用二乙氧基二甲基硅烷对Al2O3载体进行硅烷化处理,以增加载体的疏水性,考察载体疏水改性对CO低温氧化过程中催化剂稳定性的影响.催化剂的稳定性测试结果表明,在0°C,100%相对湿度条件下,未改性催化剂在约20 h内CO转化率由81%下降到50%;载体硅烷化后制备的催化剂在反应进行150 h后,CO转化率仍保持在78%,即反应活性未见降低.由此表明催化剂载体经有机硅烷改性后,可显著增强催化剂在低温、高相对湿度下的稳定性.N2吸附/脱附和水吸附实验结果表明,载体硅烷化改性并未对催化剂的比表面积产生影响,但显著降低了催化剂上水沉积速度和沉积量,未改性催化剂的初始吸水速度是改性后催化剂的4倍,但改性后催化剂的饱和吸水率仅占未改性催化剂的1/3.X射线衍射结果表明,载体预处理后活性物种Cu2(OH)3Cl晶粒尺寸有所增加.氢气程序升温还原、X射线光电子能谱结果表明,载体硅烷化预处理改善了催化剂中Cu和Pd物种的化学分布及接触状态,增加了与Pd� 展开更多

Probability-based seismic performance assessment of in-service bridges has gained much attention in the scientific community during the past decades. The nonlinear static pushover analysis is critical for describing the seismic behaviour of bridges subjected to moderate to high seismicity due to its simplicity. However, in existing analysis methods,the generation of pushover curve needs tremendous amount of computational costs and requires skills, which may halter its application in practice, implying the importance of developing practice-oriented analysis method with improved efficiency. Moreover, the bridge pier performance has been modelled as deterministic, indicating that the variation associated with the pier material and mechanical properties remains unaddressed. The correlation in the performance of different piers also exists due to the common design provisions and construction conditions but has neither been taken into account. This paper develops a simplified pushover analysis procedure for the seismic assessment of simply supported RC bridges. With the proposed method, the pushover curve of the bridge can be obtained explicitly without complex finite element modelling. A random factor is introduced to reflect the uncertainty in relation to the pushover curve. The correlation in the pier performance is considered by employing the Gaussian copula function to construct the joint probability distribution. Illustrative examples are presented to demonstrate theapplicability of the method and to investigate the impact of variation and correlation in bridge pier behaviour on the seismic performance assessment. 展开更多

Hexagonal tungsten trioxide (h-WO3)microspheres were synthesized by a hydrothermal method,with ammonium paratungstate and hydrochloric acid as the raw materials.The effects of the process parameters on the phase compositions and morphologies of the products were investigated.The results showed that the hydrothermal temperature and molar ratio of the raw materials were important for avoiding the formation of impurity phases,namely WO3.0.33H2Oand WO3.H2O.The pure-phase h-WO3microspheres had a specific surface area of 40.0m^2/g,and were assembled from nanorods.The microspheres were used to support Pd,and the obtained Pd/h-WO3catalyst showed excellent catalytic activity in the hydrogenation of styrene under mild conditions,with a turnover frequency 0f 3050h^-1.The catalyst was recycled five times without loss of activity,i.e.,the supported catalyst had good recyclability. 展开更多

Supported ionic liquid (IL) sorbents for CO2 capture were prepared by impregnating tetramethylammoniumglycinate ([N1111][Gly]) into four types of porous materials in this study. The CO2 adsorption behaviorwas investigatedin a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). Among them, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-[N1111][Gly]exhibits the best CO2 adsorption properties in terms of adsorption capacity and rate. The CO2 adsorption capacityreaches up to 2.14mmol·g^-1 sorbent at 35 ℃ The fast CO2 adsorption rate of PMMA-[N1111][Gly] allows 60 minof adsorption equilibrium time at 35℃ and much shorter time of 4 min is achieved at 75℃. Further, Avrami'sfractional-order kinetic modelwas used and fittedwellwith the experiment data,which shows good consistencybetween experimental results and theoretical model. In addition, PMMA-[N1111][Gly] remained excellent durabilityin the continuous adsorption-desorption cycling test. Therefore, this stable PMMA-[N1111][Gly] sorbenthas great potential to be used for fast CO2 adsorption from flue-gas. 展开更多

Supported ionic liquid(IL) catalysts [Cnmim]3PMo12O40/Am TiO2(amorphous TiO2) were synthesized through a one-step method for extraction coupled catalytic oxidative desulfurization(ECODS) system. Characterizations such as FTIR, DRS,wide-angle XRD, N2 adsorption–desorption and XPS were applied to analyze the morphology and Keggin structure of the catalysts. In ECODS with hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant, it was found that ILs with longer alkyl chains in the cationic moiety had a better effect on the removal of dibenzothiophene. The desulfurization could reach 100% under optimal conditions, and GC–MS analysis was employed to detect the oxidized product after the reaction. Factors affecting the desulfurization efficiencies were discussed, and a possible mechanism was proposed. In addition, cyclic experiments were also conducted to investigate the recyclability of the supported catalyst. The catalytic activity of [C16mim]3 PMo12O40/Am TiO2 only dropped from 100% to 92.9% after ten cycles, demonstrating the good recycling performance of the catalyst and its potential industrial application. 展开更多

利用静电溶液喷射法,结合浸渍焙烧工艺成功制备了Fe 2O 3/Al 2O 3超细纤维负载型光催化剂。采用SEM、EDS、XRD等技术对其进行表征,以酸性大红(RR 195)的光催化降解为目标反应,评价其光催化活性。结果表明,通过静电溶液喷射方法制备的氧... 利用静电溶液喷射法,结合浸渍焙烧工艺成功制备了Fe 2O 3/Al 2O 3超细纤维负载型光催化剂。采用SEM、EDS、XRD等技术对其进行表征,以酸性大红(RR 195)的光催化降解为目标反应,评价其光催化活性。结果表明,通过静电溶液喷射方法制备的氧化铝超细纤维毡柔性较好,纤维平均直径为3.78μm。光催化实验表明,当煅烧温度为500℃、铁负载量为195.5 mg/g时,催化剂的性能最佳。在紫外光照及H 2O 2存在的条件下,反应120 min后,该催化剂对RR 195的脱色率达到95%,3次循环反应后,120 min内染料的脱色率可达70%。反应后该催化剂仍然保持良好的纤维形态,易于分离,避免了二次污染。 展开更多

首先制备氯化1-氨基聚醚-3-甲基咪唑离子液体[H2N-PECH-MIM]Cl,再将其与正硅酸乙酯(TEOS)反应制备硅胶负载聚醚离子液体催化剂(Si-[H2N-PECH-MIM]Cl),利用红外光谱仪对其化学结构进行表征,利用热重分析仪和电镜扫描仪对其热性能和... 首先制备氯化1-氨基聚醚-3-甲基咪唑离子液体[H2N-PECH-MIM]Cl,再将其与正硅酸乙酯(TEOS)反应制备硅胶负载聚醚离子液体催化剂(Si-[H2N-PECH-MIM]Cl),利用红外光谱仪对其化学结构进行表征,利用热重分析仪和电镜扫描仪对其热性能和表观形貌进行测试。然后用制备的催化剂催化环氧丙烷与二氧化碳合成碳酸丙烯酯,利用气相色谱测定碳酸丙烯酯的纯度,研究催化温度、催化剂用量及其循环使用次数等因素对转化率和选择性的影响。结果表明,硅胶负载聚醚离子液体催化剂制备成功,实现了相态转变,并可在较温和条件下即可高效完成催化过程,活性高,选择性好,易回收,可多次循环使用。当催化温度为70℃,压力为1.5MPa,用量为3.0%时,转化率为94.8%,选择性为87.5%。 展开更多
