Effects of verbena on growth performance,health and meat quality of rabbits

摘要 本研究旨在评估日粮添加不同水平的马鞭草对肉兔生长性能、健康和肉质的影响。试验选择160只35 d断奶肉兔,根据体重随机分为4组,每组4个重复,每个重复10只。各组分别在基础日粮中添加0、0.2%、0.3%和0.4%的马鞍草,试验为期54 d。结果:与对照组和0.2%马鞭草组相比,0.3%和0.4%马鞭草组粗蛋白质表观消化率显著降低(P<0.05)。此外,对照组粗脂肪表观消化率显著高于0.3%和0.4%马鞭草组(P<0.05)。除了对照组白细胞数量显著低于马鞭草处理组外(P<0.05),各组对血液学其他指标的影响无显著差异(P>0.05)。与对照组相比,0.4%马鞭草组挥发性脂肪酸浓度显著提高了27.51%(P<0.05),而乙酸浓度较对照组和0.2%马鞭草组分别提高了27.08%和23.65%(P<0.05),但其氨氮浓度较对照组、0.2%和0.3%马鞭草组分别降低了33.41%、28.14%和29.70%(P<0.05)。结论:日粮添加马鞭草可显著增加肉兔血液白细胞总数,提高盲肠挥发性脂肪酸总量和乙酸浓度,降低氨氮、粗蛋白质和粗脂肪消化率,而对生长性能无负面影响。在本试验条件下,马鞭草的适宜添加水平小于0.4%。 The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation with different levels of verbena on growth performance,health and meat quality in rabbits.160 meat rabbits weaned at 35 d were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups according to their weight,4 replicates in each group and 10 rabbits in each replicate.Each group was fed a basal diet of 0,0.2%,0.3%and 0.4%verbena for 54 days.Results:compared with control group and 0.2%verbena group,the apparent digestibility of crude protein in 0.3%and 0.4%verbena group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).In addition,the apparent digestibility of crude fat in the control group was significantly higher than that in the 0.3%and 0.4%verbena groups(P<0.05).Except that the white blood cell count of the control group was significantly lower than that of the verbena treatment group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the influence of each group on other hematological indicators(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the concentration of volatile fatty acids in the 0.4%verbena group increased significantly by 27.51%(P<0.05),while the concentration of acetic acid increased by 27.08%and 23.65%(P<0.05),respectively,compared with the control group and the 0.2%and 0.3%verbena groups.However,the concentration of ammonia nitrogen decreased by 33.41%,28.14%and 29.70%,respectively,compared with the control group,0.2%and 0.3%verbena group(P<0.05).Conclusion:the dietary addition of verbena can significantly increase the total number of white blood cells,increase the total number of volatile fatty acids and acetic acid concentration in caecum,reduce the digestibility of ammonia nitrogen,crude protein and crude fat,and have no negative effect on the growth performance.Under the experimental conditions,the appropriate addition level of verbena was less than 0.4%.
